God's Plan

One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  This verse has become a theme for me.  With all my heart I believe that God has a plan for everyone, including you.  Now, hold on just a minute, I know you've got to be thinking, "Yeah, right! Preacher, you don't know me, and you don't know what I've done."  Hey, the good news is that it doesn't matter who you are, nor what you've done, God did not create you for hell!  He created you for heaven, and he has an awesome, wonderful plan for your life!  We just need to get with God's plan!

Let me share with you how to get started.  First, if you're like most folks, you could declare boldly, "I did it my way!"  Some of us can really identify.  We've been there and got the T-shirt. That's the real issue here.  Proverbs 14:12 reads, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."  If you've been living life your way (and things aren't working out so well), maybe it's time to try living God's way.  What do you do?  Well the best place to start is just simply talk to God.  That's right! I said talk to God.  That's what prayer is.  Simply tell him you're sorry for ignoring his plan  for you.  Ask God to forgive you, and give you a new beginning!  You will be amazed at what he will do in your life!  Hey, don't wait!  Get started today.  He is ready NOW, to give you hope and a future!
